French & Day is primarily a deli/wine bar, but they also serve excellent artisan coffees and delicious pastries from the local bakery, Proto. While this shop is mostly takeaway due to limited indoor seating, it remains a delightful spot to enjoy exceptional coffee from one of our favourite local roasters, Sustain Coffee. It’s worth noting that the outdoor seating is limited too, and it may not be the best option for families and remote workers.

Less frantic than other coffee shops, French & Day is a serene and cozy spot - if you can find a seat. While a delicious range of cheeses and charcuterie takes centre stage here, they also serve up high-quality coffee from one of our favourite local roasters, Sustain Coffee, and excellent pastries from just down the road at Proto artisan bakery. We love the slower pace this spot offers, as well as the fancier selection of food and drinks.
