Part of the local Coffee Lab franchise, Ware Coffee Lab serves up beans from their very own roastery - the Bionic Bull Blend. With a good variety of vegan and gluten-free (NGCI) suitable sweet treats, the coffee lab is an attractive spot in the town centre with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. A range of Single Origin Beans is also available to purchase in-store.

Following the success of the Hertford location, another Coffee Lab has opened its doors in the neighbouring town of Ware. This sibling shop will feel like a home away from home for anyone venturing in from Hertford, yet it has its own uniquely cozy charm. Just like the Hertford spot, you'll find plenty of green plants that infuse the open space with a fresh and modern vibe. It's a bustling environment, so it might not be your go-to spot for a quiet lunchtime meeting, but if you thrive in the hustle and bustle, this one's right up your alley. One thing that stands out, similar to the Hertford Coffee Lab, is their thoughtful approach of not charging extra for alternative milks - a simple gesture that resonates well with vegans and the environmentally conscious. While it may be a different spot, our order doesn't change - an oat flat white, iced, with a drizzle of honeycomb if we're feeling adventurous.

Always consistent coffee and friendly staff. I also use the Ware branch for client meetings and the atmosphere is relaxed and quiet enough to have a conversation (not always the case on some places!). Their sweet treats are also really good for the post school run morning Fika!
