Nena's bright, airy space in Berkhamsted has quickly become a local favourite for good reason. Their coffee gets consistently high marks, which is all the more impressive given Berkhamsted's thriving coffee scene. They're known for an wide selection of pastries and bakes, even including gluten-free treats – the basque cheesecake and blueberry tart are standouts. The freshly made sandwiches and savouries are delicious but admittedly on the pricier side. It can get busy, with occasional waits for coffee, and there's no WiFi for remote workers, but the friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere more than make up for it.
